Our core values are at the heart of everything we do as an organization and every decision we make. We don’t just pull them out when it’s convenient. They mean something to us, our customers, our business partners, and our community.

1. Only the Best Will Do

Our core values in the office are the same as what we provide our customers—only the best, always. We have the best equipment, furniture, and amenities and we believe that translates directly to happier employees and the best product. This core value doesn’t stop at product development. We work hard, play hard, and provide the best possible product support and customer experience, too.

2. Do It Right

When we do something, we do it right! We approach everything strategically and thoughtfully to build long-term, sustainable growth. We love that about our product, and we strive to always “do it right” as we build more features and improve the Property Matrix software with our customers’ feedback.

3. Prioritize User Experience

Business software should be built in a way that people enjoy working with it every day. The most amazing software with the longest list of features is useless if people can’t effectively use it to do their jobs and make their lives easier. Property Matrix builds powerful software that people can actually use.

4. Transparency at All Levels

We think the best way to handle any challenge is to get everyone involved. No suggestion is a bad suggestion and no person is too junior to offer an opinion or share an idea. The best workplace is a place where everyone feels respected, comfortable enough to speak up, free to voice their opinions, and never feels judged or criticized.

5. Work-Life Balance is Key

Unlike many other software companies, we value our employees’ work-life balance. We rarely require overtime and when we do, it’s usually minimal. We believe that working smart is better than working hard and people work best when they’re well-rested and fresh! We try to make the office feel like home (and offer many amenities to do exactly that), but we don’t think the office needs to become your home.

6. The Person Matters More than the Title

We care more about merit than fancy titles and degrees. Many of our best developers have come directly from our support departments. It’s not always about what you know or where you’re from. It’s more about how much you’re willing to learn, what you’re capable of, and how much care you put into your work.

7. Continuous Advancement and Change for the Better

We believe in constant advancement and change for our employees. As people progress at Property Matrix, promotions are only one part of the positive changes they’ll experience at our company. Many of our staff members switch departments after some time and have acquired a whole new skill set! We are very particular with hiring and believe that a skilled and valued team member can be great in any department, not just what they were hired for.
