In this role, you will support both of our software products — Property Matrix and Digital Waybill — by helping prospective clients understand how our solutions fit their operational needs. You will play an important role in the sales process by combining product knowledge, technical understanding, and strong communication to build confidence and help drive new business. While the primary focus of this role is pre-sales support, you will also assist existing clients with technical and product-related questions as needed, helping ensure a strong overall customer experience.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team in a client-facing role that primarily supports the sales process. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys learning software in depth, explaining product functionality clearly, and helping prospective clients understand how technology can improve their business operations. Since our products are used in accounting and day-to-day operational workflows, candidates should have a solid understanding of bookkeeping and basic accounting principles.

You will work closely with prospective clients and internal team members across both Property Matrix and Digital Waybill by supporting product demos, answering technical and workflow-related questions, and helping prospects evaluate how our software can meet their needs. In addition, you will occasionally assist existing clients with technical support and product guidance when needed. Because Digital Waybill is a Windows-based software application, this role also requires comfort working in Windows environments and strong computer troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the sales process by providing product knowledge and technical guidance for Property Matrix and Digital Waybill

  • Participate in product demos and help explain software functionality, workflows, and business value

  • Answer prospect questions related to product setup, features, and day-to-day usage

  • Help identify client needs and recommend solutions that align with their business goals

  • Work closely with sales and internal team members to help move opportunities forward

  • Learn both platforms in depth and confidently guide prospective clients through relevant use cases

  • Build trust with prospective clients through responsive communication and clear explanations

  • Assist with technical and workflow-related follow-up during the evaluation process

  • Provide technical support to existing clients, helping answer product questions and resolve issues as needed

  • Help identify common prospect and client questions and share feedback that supports product and sales improvements

  • Assist with Windows-related setup, navigation, and troubleshooting as needed for Digital Waybill

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree that includes a course in accounting

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and software platforms

  • Ability to explain software and technical concepts in a clear, user-friendly way

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment

  • Comfortable working in a Windows-based software environment

  • Good general computer troubleshooting skills

  • Working knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting principles

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a sales, support, onboarding, or other client-facing software role

  • Demonstrated ability to engage and interact with prospective clients and customers in a professional and helpful manner

  • Technical aptitude and comfort demonstrating software

  • Experience with Windows operating systems, software setup, and basic technical troubleshooting

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

  • Eager to take on new challenges and grow within a supportive team

  • On-target earnings of $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
